Roberto and Maluz built a family tradition that lives on through their children: Malu, Roberto, Jorge, and José Ángel.

Roberto Crespo Fitch

In 1971, Roberto founded Empaque Don Jorge in El Rosario, Sinaloa, naming it after his father, Jorge Longinos Crespo. His work laid the foundation for our family’s growing, packing, and shipping business.

In 1960, he established the family farm in Rosario, Sinaloa, Mexico.

1971 · A GROWING VISION

Roberto Crespo Fitch

In 1971, he founded Empaque Don Jorge and established El Grupo Crespo as global growers, packers, and shippers.

2007 · CARRYING IT FORWARD

Maluz Durán Valdez

As president of El Grupo Crespo, she took over total oversight of the family business when Roberto Crespo Fitch passed in 2007.
